WHAT IS LIVE STATS?
Live Stats is an optional service that provides a comprehensive website log-file tracking and analysis server. The server is entirely web-based; there is no need to purchase or install any software on your PC. Any workstation with a web-browser connected to the Internet instantly becomes a complete analysis station.

WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE?
The Live Stats option produces both textual summaries and easy-to-interpret visual graphs. You simply log on to a password-protected website and can generate many different types of reports on-the-fly along with setting options and preferences.

CAN I GET AN AUTOMATIC SUMMARY OF ACTIVITY VIA E-MAIL?
The Live Stats option can E-mail a summary report on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis. This is great to send to the owners of the site that don't want to logon or go to the web to see a summary, etc.

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE AND INSTALL ANY SOFTWARE ON MY COMPUTER?
The Live Stats option is entirely server based. There is no need to purchase or install any software on your own computer.

DO I NEED TO LEARN FTP AND TRANSFER LOG FILES TO MY COMPUTER?
The Live Stats option continuously processes the website log files and creates a summary database all online. There never is a need to transfer any files or information to your own computer for processing.

HOW OFTEN IS THE INFORMATION UPDATED?
The Live Stats option runs as a task on our server and constantly processes the log files in real-time. The information is up-to-date literally minute by minute. (Competing systems run batch reports once a day so the information gets stale quickly.) When using our Live Stats, you will never be looking only at last week's or yesterday's data. It even displays a "who's on" that shows actual web users on your site in the last few minutes!
