WHAT IS WEBMAIL?
WebMail is an optional service offered by SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM that complements traditional workstation-based E-Mail service.WebMail is an interactive web-based service that allows you to access your E-Mail from any Web Browser.

HOW DOES WEBMAIL WORK?
The WebMail service available from SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.Com is usable from any Web Browser. If you have a PC, Macintosh, Workstation, or any other Internet-enabled access terminal, simply log on to the Internet, visit our homepage at WWW.VOICEGATEWAY.COM, and select WebMail from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

CAN I DO MORE THAN JUST READ MESSAGES?
Yes. With the WebMail service available from SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM, you can create new messages, forward messages, delete messages, and of course read any existing messages in your mailbox.

HOW DOES WEBMAIL INTERACT WITH MY EXISTING VOICEGATWAY.COM E-MAIL ACCOUNT?
The WebMail service available from SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM acts as an alternate way to manipulate your existing E-Mail account. WebMail manipulates your existing E-Mail mailbox. It does not make a copy of it or forward messages to a hidden mailbox or anything similar. This has many advantages, but also requires that you be aware of a few limitations.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF WEBMAIL MANIPULATING MY EXISTING E-MAIL MAILBOX?
Because the WebMail service available from SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM works with your actual mailbox, you don't have to worry about synchronizing your E-Mail operations. If you delete a message using WebMail, it is permanently deleted and will not re-appear in your inbox. If you forward or reply to a message, the FROM heading on the message will be your real E-Mail address insuring than any reply will be received properly.

WHAT ARE THE DISADVANTAGES OF WEBMAIL MANIPULATING MY EXISTING E-MAIL MAILBOX?
Because the WebMail service available from SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM is browser based, you must be online and connected to the Internet to use it. You cannot prepare messages offline or quickly download new E-Mail to review later. Also, if you are going to use WebMail, you must insure that your PC is not running your regular E-Mail program as that would download all your messages to your PC and WebMail would see only an empty mailbox.

I ALREADY HAVE AN E-MAIL ACCOUNT FOR MY REGISTERED DOMAIN THAT IS HOSTED WITH VOICEGATEWAY.COM. CAN I STILL USE WEBMAIL?
Yes, the WebMail service offered by SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM is an optional service you can add to any existing E-Mail plan.

I DON'T HAVE A REGISTERED DOMAIN OR THE ACCOUNT I HAVE HOSTED WITH VOICEGATEWAY.COM DOES NOT HAVE E-MAIL SERVICE. CAN I STILL USE WEBMAIL?
Yes, our Free WebMail plan allows you to have an E-Mail address hosted on our servers. Your E-Mail name would be yourname@voicegateway.com.

ARE THERE ANY LIMITATIONS TO THE FREE WEBMAIL PLAN?
Yes, To qualify for the Free WebMail service offered by SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM you must have a domain or subdomain actively hosted on our servers. In addition, our Free WebMail plan does not include regular POP3 or SMTP E-Mail service only the WebMail option. (You may always upgrade an existing hosting plan if you wish to have both POP3/SMTP E-Mail and WebMail as a paid service.)

I HAVE AN E-MAIL ACCOUNT WITH ANOTHER ISP. CAN I USE WEBMAIL WITH IT?
No. The WebMail service offered by SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM is designed to work only with E-Mail accounts hosted by our E-Mail servers. If you have a website hosted with us that has E-Mail service, you may be able to forward your existing E-Mail to this account.

I'M HAPPY USING MY REGULAR POP3 E-MAIL. WHY WOULD I BE INTERESTED IN WEBMAIL?
The WebMail service offered by SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM is a great complement to existing E-Mail programs. One of the best uses is for checking your E-Mail when you are not at your own PC. Business users can quickly check their E-Mail from home, and personal users can check their private E-Mail from work. Travelers can check their E-Mail anywhere there is an Internet-connected Web Browser such as the public access PC's in popular airline clubs, cyberkiosks, or cybercafes. As an added convenience, because WebMail does not load any software or save any E-Mail on the PC, when using a public PC or simply an associate's workstation, none of your confidential or personal E-Mail will accidentlly be left behind and no passwords or configuration information needs to be deleted when you leave.

I DON'T TRAVEL OR USE ANOTHER PC. IS THERE ANY OTHER REASON TO USE WEBMAIL?
Yes, The WebMail service offered by SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM also includes complete account configuration and customization capability. Using the WebMail Interface you can change your POP3 E-Mail password, setup or modify E-Mail forwarding, create an auto-response message such as a I'm on vacation notice, and other settings.

THOSE SETTINGS AND CONFIGURATIONS OPTIONS ARE GREAT. CAN I ACCESS THEM WITHOUT WEBMAIL?
No, At the current time, the WebMail service offered by SPIV Technologies Group VOICEGATEWAY.COM is the only way to have the additional configuration and customization control over your POP3/SMTP E-Mail hosted by our servers.
