Enhanced Bandwidth Monitoring   - For our dedicated servers, co-location, and virtual machine clients we are implementing a new monitoring system for bandwidth and usage reporting.  In addition to real-time graphs, the system can automatically email reports at the end of the month and summarize bandwidth and transfer use.  More details soon for all our managed services users.

Version 2.0 Community Server Now Available   - After testing and verification, we are now provisioning all Community Server hosting accounts with the newly released version 2.0.  This adds extensive improvements to the message board, blog, and gallery modules of this widely used forums/bulletin board system.

November 18, 2005:
Livestats.XSP and LiveStats.NET version 8 installed  - We have completed installation of the latest upgrade for our LiveStats web analytics processing.  Both the log file and embeddded tracking versions have been upgraded to the newest release.

November 7, 2005:
SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio 2005 are here!  - Today in San Francisco, Microsoft officially introduced the latest development and programming tools - Visual Studio 2005, ASP.NET 2.0, SQL Server 2005 and BizTalk 2006.  As part of a special Early Adopter Web Provider Program we received the software via overnight courier and already have our servers up and running with the brand new database and programming systems.

November 1, 2005:
ASP.NET 2.0 is here!  - Microsoft has RTM'd ASP.NET 2.0 and we've got it!  A brand new server is online for hosting ASP.NET 2.0 sites.  Contact us to have your site upgraded to ASP.NET 2.0 or to open a new site today.

October 10, 2005:
New dedicated SharePoint database server  - we completed installation of another dedicated SQL Server database server. This server is being used exclusively for hosting the databases used by our Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) shared hosting accounts for improved performance and capacity.

September 12, 2005:
Port 26 tunnel removed  - To improve the stability of our email servers we have removed the tunneling/remapping of Port 26 to Port 25.  Please use the standard SMTP port 25 for sending email or use the outbound server provided by your ISP if your provider blocks direct access to other SMTP mail servers.

September 1, 2005:
PHP Version 5 available  - Continuing our support for popular programming, scripting, and development tools, we have installed the latest version of the popular PHP scripting language on our servers.

August 21, 2005:
Ultra fast server installed  - To boost the performance of our Virtual Machine (VM) Hosting, we've just completed installation of an ultra-fast Dell server.  With 4 GBytes of ECC memory, 3.2 GHz Pentium IV CPU, and 250Gbytes of hardware RAID disk space it gives us more speed and capacity.

New Postini spam blocking service  - Based on customer feedback and requests, we have completely changed from our prior virus-scanning/spam blocking system to the award-winning Postini technology. In addition to very high accuracy in removing 98% or more junkmail, our new spam blocking service gives each user a personal Message Center to review captured spam, adjust settings, and create personal whitelists and blacklists.

October 30, 2004:
HTML Viewer for SharePoint  - Logged-in users of any Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) site can now view documents online in their browser.  Click on the name of any file in the document library and if you don't have Microsoft Office installed on your PC the system will convert Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files to html that can be viewed online in your browser.

October 7, 2004:
New dedicated MySql Database Server online  - We have completed installation of dedicated server for MySql databases.  This allows us to continue to provide low-cost, high-performance database support using MySql.  We have also upgraded our Web Control Panel and it is now located at http://mysqlwebconsole.voicegateway.com

September 18, 2004:
Data center move completed ahead of schedule  - Thanks to our expert move team, we started powering-up in the new data center only 3 hours after we started.  All servers are running and online.  We diagnosed one problem with Windows SharePoint Services and have resolved it.  All servers are now operating without any issues.  All co-location and managed servers are also online and operational.

September 12, 2004:
Scheduled Downtime for Expansion Saturday Sept 18, 2004 at 5:00 PM - We're excited to announce that we have outgrown our current data center space and will be moving into twice the physical cage and rack space at the end of next week.

We are moving from our current northern San Jose location to the downtown San Jose data center owned and operated by our current provider - AboveNet/MFN. Same virtually 100% uptime AboveNet network, same world-class Tier 1 data center facilities, same high-speed OC-192 national/international fiber optic network, and (most importantly) all the same TCP/IP addresses.

We have planned the move for Saturday, September 18, 2004 starting at 5:00PM PDT. This time and date was chosen to minimize the impact on both our US and International customers. All servers and services currently located in San Jose including E-Mail, Web Hosting, and Co-location will be down for 4 to 6 hours while we transport everything to the new building and power-up in the larger space.

We anticipate that our downtime will probably be less but want to be conservative with our estimate. Please note that only our San Jose data center equipment is moving. Our redundant DNS and application servers located in our East Coast / New York data center and our Asian Support Center are not affected by this move and will continue to operate 24 x 7 as usual.
